This is a simple Euro grub that is a quick tie and a great way to imitate emerging caddis. I often tie it up in this color, green, tan, and orange for an October caddis hatch. The heavy bead makes it a great dropper fly to put a smaller point fly below without using a pattern that is much larger like a stonefly. If there are caddis in your waters, this is one that makes a great addition to the fly box not only because it's great for catching fish but also because it only takes a few minutes to tie, so you don't need to worry about losing a few.
