The all-new Ford EVOS, which is a component of Ford's China 2.0 strategy, is the company's first automobile that was primarily developed by a team based in China using Ford's global product development know-how and entirely tailored to the needs and expectations of Chinese consumers.
Ford EVOS is the first vehicle to reflect Ford’s “Progressive Energy in Strength” design philosophy with its innovative silhouette that communicates the agility and dynamic value of a coupe combined with the strength and sense of freedom of an SUV. Ford's design heritage is integrated with Chinese aesthetic values in the connected coast-to-coast lighting, 3D parametric scale grille, scale-patterned taillights, and other standout design elements.
The entire interior space is united by the intelligently embraced cockpit that connects the doors and instrument panel. On this foundation, a 1.1m-wide horizontal screen, including a 12.3” digital cluster and 27” 4K touch screen, is nested into the soft and stitched instrument panel, unfolding an advanced premium digital space.
Ford EVOS has the same brand-new Fully Networked Vehicle E/E architecture as the Mustang Mach-E, which enables dynamic, quick, and seamless over-the-air software updates to improve product quality, capability, and customer experience over time.
SYNC+ 2.0, a Baidu product that combines its AI technology with its digital app ecosystem, powers the extra-wide horizontal screen. Using Ford’s new UI design, it offers more intuitive and concise function distribution and simple shortcut menus for smooth and seamless interaction.
