In 1973 in Adelaide, Australia, two young girls are abduction in broad daylight in a crowd of 50,000 roaring football fans. Joanne Ratcliffe, 11, and Kirste Gordon, 4, went to the toilet during a football match they were attending with their families- and they were never seen again.
If this story sounds somewhat familiar to you, it is because just 7 years earlier also in Adelaide, 3 siblings known as the Beaumont children were snatched of Glenelg Beach in broad daylight. They too, were never seen again.
Besides the fact these abductions are eerily similar, the composite sketches of the men from both abductions, as composed by witnesses, is what really gave me the chills...
