Happy #indieanimation day! At last, here is our animatic for our Proof of Concept for Camp Cryptid! Our goal is to fully animate this so you all can see our vision for the art style! This animatic was originally made back in 2024, but I figured it would be good to post to hopefully stir up more traction for the pilot! I have been waiting to launch the Kickstarter until our Proof of Concept is finished, that way we can not only give you an idea of what the finished pilot episode will look like, but so we have time to promote it to ensure it is successful! Keep an eye out for further updates about our Kickstarter!

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥 𝘾𝙧𝙮𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙙?
Camp Cryptid is an indie animated pilot created by Celeste McGee (ThatOneEggplant) centering around our protagonist, Dustin, a young Thunderbird boy who has trouble making friends in his all human school. His parents, hoping he'll make more friends at an all cryptid camp, send him to Camp Cryptid, a summer camp run by Cthulhu (Mr. C). With his newfound friends, Keith the Reptilian and Devin the Jersey Devil, the three of them get into heaps of trouble, and stumble upon a magical grimoire hidden beneath the camp's grounds. Deciding to keep it, the boys discover the enchanted book has been inhabited by an ancient entity. Things are getting more and more odd back at camp the longer they try to keep the book a secret.
