As the crimson twilight fades, a pulsing light begins to emanate from the coffin of Dracula. All torches and fires of his fortress, and beyond to all the habitations of Dracula's domain, burn a deep, brooding scarlet. In sync with the intensifying hue of his coffin, the cursed soul within awakens. Forever bound to his affliction, the Lord of Vampires mourns his nightmarish immortality in those still-human moments of clarity found in his regained consciousness. Though, the mourning melts away as his heart rate increases as he wakes, and Dracula soon remembers only the thirst...
