It’s a cruel world for Naruto in this universe. To belong to every clan and yet to have no family at all. He has ties to the Hyuga, the Yamanaka, the Nara, and the Akimichi; he has connections to many more, and yet, instead of being loved, he found himself on trial, with his fate at stake as each clan tried to decide whether or not he should even be allowed to live. In the end, they seem to have concluded that he can live, but not without a price. Naruto now bears the Cursed Seal of the Caged Bird, the same that other Hyugas possess. Sasuke had told him to wear it with pride, because it meant that the clans thought him to be dangerous. And perhaps for a time he did, but all the same, being feared wasn’t what he wanted. All he really wanted to be was loved. So the question now is, will he find that familial bond within his clan that he’s searching for? Or will he continue to live alone, connected to every clan, belonging to none?
