Tuiles Aux Amandes EFFILÉES | Almond tiles Biscuits

Today I’m sharing a French classic cookies - the almond tuiles!
These delicious and crispy, sweet and thin biscuits are made with only few ingredients.

The raw dough will keep for almost a week in the fridge and the baked tuiles can be stored for 2 days in an airtight box.

INGREDIENTS
125 g (4½oz) flaked almonds
125 g (4½oz) caster sugar
Few drops of vanilla extract or
2 pinches of vanilla powder
Few drops of bitter almond extract
2 egg whites
25 g (scant 1oz) butter
20 g (3/4oz) plain white flour

Bake at 150°C (300°F) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
