After completing my Train Odyssey 4, I spent several days traveling up and down the east coast in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina visiting museums and historic sites, and visiting friends. Of these, my first stop was the U.S. Army Transportation Museum in Fort Eustis, Virginia, near Newport News.

I had anticipated that this museum would be a few trucks parked somewhere near the gate of the fort, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was a large, world class museum.

This video is my walk-through of the entire museum.
