The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) recently hosted a significant Startup Summit in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, marking a pivotal moment for the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event, aptly named "Unveiling the Potential: Rising Jammu and Kashmir, the Land of Opportunities," aimed to catalyze innovation and investment in one of India’s most strategically located yet underdeveloped regions.

The summit brought together a diverse array of participants, including industry leaders, startup founders, investors, and policy makers. The goal was to foster a collaborative environment where ideas could be shared and new partnerships could be formed, all with the aim of building a robust startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.

Principal Resident Commissioner, Dr Rashmi Singh, Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, J&K Government, Vikramjeet Singh, Ameya Prabhu, President of the ICC, and Khalid Wani, Chairman of the ICC Jammu Kashmir Chapter, among others members of ICC were present during the day-long event.
