NLU Film Room: Shiskine

Tron's second stop in the Western Scotland series is Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club on the Isle of Arran. Watch as Tron tries to break par on this 12-hole gem. Presented by Footjoy.

Founded in 1896, Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club contains a 12-hole links golf course located on the western side of the Isle of Arran and designed by the 1883 champion of the Open Championship, Willie Fernie. Originally a 9-hole layout, architect Willie Park Junior was brought in to expand it to an 18-hole design. World War I made its completion fall by the wayside, rounding it out to a 12-hole track heavily featuring par-3s and captivating cliffside views.
