FINALLY.. Overwintered Citrus has Loads BLOOMS | Meyer Lemon Tree & Dwarf Tangerine | Container Gardening Guten Yardening --------- Citrus Link: https://bit.ly/3beIlz9 --------------
Today, we will share the way we overwinter and care for our citrus trees.
The cold weather is upon us and as we move towards gardening indoors, one of the first sets of plants that we have to bring in are our citrus trees Here in zone 5 Wisconsin, our Meyer Lemon and our Tangerine cannot handle the extreme cold temperatures that often drop below 10°F in the months of December-February.

This year, we decided to not only bring the two plants indoors but to also place them into our grow tent with some of the other vegetables we are growing this winter.

After only two weeks in the grow tent and a repotting, we are noticing a remarkable shift in growth and in blossoms forming on both plants. With proper nutritional care, watering, temperature, and light, we are confident of a successful harvest in the upcoming months.
