KELLY CHEN WED'S
Hong Kong singer and actress Kelly Chen married her sweetheart of 16-years in Hong Kong on Thursday.
The ceremony took place at the Hong Kong Intercontinental Hotel, where 35-year-old Kelly and her new husband, Alex Lau, said their marriage vows before friends and family.
It was a 16-year long relationship.
The big day was typically busy, Kelly said.
"Everything is in a rush, such like hairstyling, making up, getting dressed, playing with groom," she said.
"I'm still feeling very busy," she added.
Kelly said her wedding dress, designed by Hai Chung Man, boasted 999 roses and French sourced fabric.
"My wedding dress is huge and long, it took two months to finish. I can't handle it by myself, therefore I need several bridesmaids, totally ten bridesmaids to hold it," Kelly said.
In June the actress unexpectedly announced her wedding plans at her 'Love Fighter' concert in front of thousands of people.
Kelly's career started in 1995 with the film 'Whatever Will Be, Will Be' with co-star Aaron Kwok.
Her talent in both acting and singing caught the attention of the industry.
She also released her Cantonese and Mandarin albums in the Great China area and Southeast Asia with great success.
Kelly said she will continue her career in the entertainment industry and hope her fans and colleagues keep supporting her.
