We are totally excited to announce that we will debut an innovative new paring system at MC2. We thought we were only going to be able to test it, but the amazing Dave Kriewall finished the system ahead of schedule.

The system was born out of Dave's experience with the frustrations associated with the status quo and Amy's dream for MC to be the first open tournament ​in the US ​to go fully digital. Dave designed it to make the world, or at least ​chess ​tournaments, a better, more efficient place. In addition to automating the pairings and results process, the system allows for quick checkin and identification via a wristband, instant recording of results, quick ID of players who forgot to record results before they leave the tournament hall, increased accuracy, and instant identification of problem games (e.g.,conflicting results). ​It's fast, it's simple, and it's accessible.​ And you'll get to see it and use it at MC2!
