Taking it Easy RC Glider Slope Soaring - Cairns Bay Australia

October 2024, on a near perfect Saturday afternoon, 26c, smooth and steady 18kph breeze, Mark, Simone and I enjoyed an outing to the beautiful Cairns Bay, Victoria, Australia. A really nice time with relaxing flying.

We are just simple flyers, enjoying a relaxing flight in the beautiful weather.

Following the launch of Mark's Salto, I got a fright when the model dipped suddenly. Mark was quick on the elevator to level flight and went on to fly for an hour before we all needed a snack.

I flew two flights with my RCRCM DG600. It's the standard non-electric version that I added an electric motor to. It has turned out to be a nice and versatile model for floating about or enjoying some mild speed runs.
