Before 'Tombstone," legendary actor Kurt Russell had a role in an Elvis Presley 1963 movie, "It Happened at the Worlds Fair."

Kurt Russell made his screen debut in this movie and plays the boy who kicks Elvis Presley in the shins, of course a lady nurse was the reason. Recalling the scene years later, Kurt says that he didn't want to do it, as Elvis was such a huge star. He also stated that Elvis was very nice man with thousands of fans swarming around his car on the movie lot.

Kurt's Elvis connection did not stop there, in 1979, Kurt landed the role as Elvis, in a made for TV biographical film, "Elvis." Many critics have stated that Kurt portrayed Elvis very well and is one of the best who have stepped into those blue suede shoes.

Then came "3000 Miles to Graceland." Although Kurt is playing a fictional character, he puts on an Elvis jumpsuit and we can see that Kurt still can captures the essence of Elvis. "3000 Miles to Graceland," became a cult heist movie and also stars Kevin Costner. Kurt and Kevin's characters team up where they play criminals who rob a Las Vegas casino during an Elvis convention.
