Taking Bronze At The Judo US Open | -100kg

Had an awesome time competing in the 2024 US Open in Ft Lauderdale. It taught me a lot about myself and some of the things I really need to improve. I got tossed like a sack of potatoes in the second match (feel free to skip).

Very thankful for my teammates and senseis at Sasaki Judo, for my competitors, and for the honor to represent the USA in an international tournament.

It's always a terrible feeling injuring your opponent... hoping and praying that my Tajikistani brother has a fast and healthy recovery.

Next year we'll trade in the bronze for some gold.
