O Lord my God, in You I take refuge,
Save me, rescue me from those who pursue.
Lest they tear my soul like a lion’s roar —
I run to You, my strong and mighty Lord.

Verse 2 (Psalm 7:3–5)
If I’ve done wrong, if guilt is mine,
Let the enemy chase and overtake in time.
But You know my heart, You see it clear —
You’re the Judge I trust, the One I fear.
