Anglia Television was the ITV regional franchise for the East of England from the 27th October 1959 until their 43rd birthday on 27th October 2003. It was taken over by the national brand name of 'itv1' in 2004, and in 2006, the 'Anglia' name was gone and all programmes were from 'itv London'.
