Twisted and bent types of waveguides are heavily used in electromagnetic devices. Twist waveguides are used to change the polarity of the fields whereas bent waveguides are used to change the direction of the fields.

This video demonstrates the basic steps required to create the twist and bent waveguides geometries from the WR-15 rectangular waveguide model using Ansys HFSS in Ansys Electronics Desktop Student (AEDT).  It covers the simulation steps of a twist waveguide model and a bent waveguide model. This video also covers the analysis of these complex geometries by plotting the cut-off frequencies as well as the fields distributions of the model.
