Описание к видео Avatar’s Posted Wait: 65 Minutes… What Was The Actual Wait? ⏱️🤔

⏱️🐉 I tested my theory again: Disney World’s wait times are inflated at park closing, especially at the biggest rides.

This time, I put my wait time theory to the test at one of the most notorious lines in all of Disney World: Avatar Flight of Passage.

And almost everything that could go wrong, did.

Animal Kingdom closed at 7 pm. I got in line at 6:54 with a posted wait of 65 minutes, which is honestly not bad for this ride. I zipped through the outdoor queue and the first cave section without seeing anyone.
Then, like whenever Varang shows up in Fire & Ash, there was trouble.

The line started crawling. By 7:08, I had only reached the in-line bathrooms. The queue crept through the bioluminescent room until the PA system announced that Flight of Passage was once again operating at full capacity. The ride had been running at reduced capacity the entire time I was in line, which turned out to be just the first problem.

After that announcement, we started moving with the swiftness of Payakan. By 7:21, I was walking through the lab past the incredible Avatar animatronic. By 7:27, the preshow started… or tried to.

Problem number two: the preshow kept showing delay sequences I had never seen before. The system rebooting. The visuals glitching into lines and blocks. People were losing their minds wondering if we'd ever actually mount the back of an Ikran like the mighty Toruk Makto.

Finally at 7:34, we got into the second preshow room with Not-Sigourney Weavery, and my flight officially began at 7:39.

The result?
🕒 Posted wait: 65 minutes
🕒 Actual wait: 45 minutes

Even with a ride running at reduced capacity and a delayed preshow.

My theory is 3/3 so far in my very scientific testing. So here’s the tip: Use this to your advantage. Even if the wait time looks intimidating, getting in line right at park closing can be a great way to get a short wait for popular rides like this.

What ride should I test next? 🎢
