United for Peace and Justice has received a $25,000 grant from the craigslist Charitable Fund – one of the few sources of significant funding for truly progressive, anti-war, social justice work. Now we want to challenge all of you to make a donation as a way of thanking the Fund!

UFPJ needs to be strong and active because the issues we face are huge – conflict throughout the Middle East, the worst refugee crisis since WWII, growing tension in the South China Sea, and a grossly inflated U.S. military budget. Last year UFPJ significantly stepped up its actions – because we were able to hire a part-time organizer. We successfully established communications with 100 local peace and justice groups. During this crucial election year, we must provide resources to insure that peace and anti-militarism are central issues in the campaigns.
