ADAM & DESREE
Adam Hart is Professor of Science Communication at the University of Gloucestershire. He carries out research on entomology, ecology and citizen science and is a regular broadcaster and author of popular science articles. He presents documentaries for BBC Radio 4, BBC4 and BBC2, as well as the weekly BBC radio programme Science in Action. He’s also involved with large-scale citizen science projects including the Flying Ant and Starling Murmuration surveys with the Royal Society of Biology.

Desree is currently Artist in Residence for the poetry collective EMPOWORD. She has featured at events all over the UK and internationally, including Glastonbury Festival, Bowery Poetry Club New York, the Royal Albert Hall, Sofar Sounds, Sunday Assembly, and Greenbelt Festival. Desree recently led a project titled 'Words on Windrush' supported by Arts Council England and inspired by the Windrush Generation. In 2019, Desree received the Highly Commended Out-Spoken Performance Prize, and has also won an ‘Off West End Award’ with the theatre show CROWDED.
