I recently stumbled across an Interview from ProAV talking to a Blackmagic Design Representative who all but confirmed that Blackmagic is now looking into implementing Autofocus into their upcoming cameras.

This led me down the rabbit hole of fanaticizing what else may be coming in Blackmagic does continue their Pocket line up and I'd actually be really excited about the prospect of one, as long as they can rectify their past mistakes.
