In this session, Shimal Kapoor, an MPP graduate of the 2020 batch of the Harvard Kennedy School, would be talking about the application process, and tips for it, what the program entails, her experience with the fellowship, and opportunities during and post the course. There will also be a discussion as to the relevance of this degree to a law student. This video introduces LLB students to the domain of postgraduate studies in public policy.

Shimal Kapoor graduated from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, in 2016, after which she worked as a Judicial Law Clerk with Justice J. Chelameswar in 2017. She then finished her Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard Kennedy School in 2020.

About Master in Public Policy :
Master in Public Policy (MPP) is a course offered by the Harvard Kennedy School (a part of Harvard University). This program gives students the analytical skills and methods required to extract answers from the clutter of actual public problems. It aims to develop the skill of comprehending complex issues and formulating solutions for the same. The program attracts students from a variety of disciplines including students pursuing an LLB degree, thereby creating a diverse environment to learn in.
