Brazil share land borders with Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and France French Guiana, French overseas region. It shares a border with all South American country except Ecuador and Chile.

The city of São Paulo, in particular, has become one of the world’s major industrial and commercial centers.

Brazil’s territory also includes some archipelagos in the Atlantic Ocean. Fernando de Noronha is a 21 island archipelago and the main island is inhabited.
Rocas Atoll is a wildlife sanctuary, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its importance as a feeding ground for marine life.
Saint Peter and Saint Paul Archipelago is the second largest megamullion. It is the only place in the Atlantic Ocean where earth’s abyssal mantle is exposed above sea level
Trindade and Martim Vaz is a 5-island archipelago. It is a main nesting site of the green sea turtles, Humpback whales and many seabirds
Now back to mainland Brazil, topography includes hills, mountains, plains, highlands, rainforest and scrublands. Much of the terrain lies between 200 meters and 800 meters above sea level.
Brazil's geography consists of four different regions: Brazilian Highlands, Pantanal, Guiana Shield, and the Amazon.
