Corrections:
I was wrong about Brits using kilometers. While I knew the UK used the metric system, I did not know how much they mix up units, and apparently they use miles all the time for things like road signs and speedometers. Mentally replace the UK with another European country and the joke will work.
The US flag draped vertically in the background is actually backwards, the stars should be facing to the left.
The pictures of Poland shown at 8:30 are not actually Poland. Google hath failed me. As one commenter pointed out, they are from Norilsk, Russia and the Czech Republic.
