Описание к видео Japanese Pitch Accent & Verb Conjugation

This video covers Japanese pitch accent & verb conjugation. When you identify the accented mora for Japanese words, nouns and na-adjectives are relatively tricky because the accent can fall on any mora. However, when it comes to verbs and i-adjectives, it is not as tricky to identify the accented mora because there’s a rule. In this video, you will learn the pitch accent rule of verbs, and based on that rule, you will also learn where the accent falls when a verb conjugates and turns into different forms. By watching this video, you will be able to memorize the accented mora for Japanese verbs in both dictionary form and conjugated forms more efficiently.

Please learn each conjugated verb form beforehand.

*1: The rule does not apply to the noun + する form of compound verbs.
