This was such an emotional video for me to edit for many reasons...

I went back home to my birthplace; St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands after not being there since 2009. Overall, the trip left me without words. I brought in my 30th birthday on the land that birthed me. I experienced many firsts as well (Hiking to the tide pools, eating a POISONOUS fruit "Manchineel" (thank GOD, I'm ok), trying curry iguana, playing mas in the parade etc). Most of all, I created memories and reconnected with friends/family that I haven't seen in years.

It was beautiful and touching to see such a small island and so many people come together to celebrate the life of the 5 men that tragically lost their lives in a plane crash on Dec 7th, 2017.
