I finally decided to rescape my 3 feet African cichlid tank. These Mbuna cichlids were in a temporary setup, and I planned to change the setup a while ago but didn’t proceed with it since they all were happy and thriving.

But now that they’ve grown in size, I noticed some aggression in the tank, and one of my banana cichlids got injured. It was clear to me that they needed a change in their current setup, so I removed all of them and made some big changes.

I used a different type of rocks, and I’ve added a lot of hiding spots in the tank to control aggression and let them mark their territories. It’s been over two weeks now, and I haven’t noticed any signs of aggression in this Malawi cichlid tank. I’ll keep sharing this tank’s updates! Which tank should I set up next?
