This is a new series I'm starting documenting me starting a new base off in the wilderness somewhere. I randomly took off in a direction in the Nether until I came across a Bastion and Nether Fortress combo. I built a Nether Portal near the base of the structures just to get there faster if I wanted, not realizing just how far away from home I was. After popping out somewhere I didn't recognize in the overworld, I came back with a 3/4 map, filled it, and started on the base.

In Days 11 and 12 I make sure to finish up the porch and continue to collect some materials
