COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A central Ohio family is thanking good Samaritans who rescued their loved one after police say a suspected drunk driver caused a crash.

The crash happened Friday night on US 23 just north of Rathmell Road in Columbus. It involved three vehicles.

They said the good Samaritans told them they busted her window to pull her out of the car.

"They saved somebody's fiancé," said Sheets. "They saved somebody's sister. They saved a life. And they didn't have to. They could have just walked away."
