Col du Glandon via Col de la Croix de Fer from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne - Indoor Cycling Training

Описание к видео Col du Glandon via Col de la Croix de Fer from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne - Indoor Cycling Training

This ride combines two legendary Tour de France climbs, Col de la Croix de Fer and Col du Glandon. The route to Col de la Croix de Fer follows the same route as the official Timtoo time trial route. It is a climb with many descends to rest the legs. But it is also a climb with a lot of altitude gain. On the climb, you are often spoiled by great views. Keep an eye out for the three beautiful mountain peaks, Les Aiguilles d'Arves. But there is also a rather long segment with nothing but trees and a few tunnels. Luckily, you are compensated later on the climb with amazing scenery and outstanding views all the way to the top. As you get to the epic Col de la Croix de Fer, you have a nice descent before the last short climb to the world-famous Col du Glandon. The Tour de France has used both mountain passes many times.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
