What is corporate entrepreneurship, and how can it benefit industry?

Our #PulseoftheMarket guests this week join us from University of Applied Sciences in Worms to discuss the current innovation trends in organizations and the new methods of learning entrepreneurship in academia.

The goal of the Entrepreneurship Masters program in the University of Worms is to support entrepreneurial thinking among students - to not only change their mindsets - but the mindsets of companies too.

You will hear from Prof. Dr. Carina Leue-Bensch, professor of Innovation Management and Corporate Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Management, and an Innovation Manager at Lufthansa, as well as Prof. Dr. Michael Graef, professor of International Entrepreneurship and International Management at the Faculty of Management, and head of the entrepreneurial activities on campus.

There are two main Entrepreneurship topics covered at University of Worms, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Entrepreneurship, and we will hear about why the university offers programs on these topics, and explore what being an “entrepreneur” vs. “practising corporate entrepreneurship” means.
They will also discuss a student’s journey from their programs to the workforce, how academic innovation research is changing, and how companies can benefit from the large pool of young talent for internship, Working Student, or new graduate employment opportunities.

Radical innovation is needed in organizations today to empower creativity and adapt to the changing industry. Decentralized innovation and companies engaging with their entire organization are just some ways the industry is breaking down barriers
