2024 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport Prestige AWD - Owner POV Drive and Commentary

Welcome to Car Rhydes! In this video I take my new 2024 Genesis G70 on a drive and give my impressions!

The G70 is an all around great package and great value in the compact luxury class. The driving dynamics feel German because they ARE German; former BMW engineers worked with Genesis to develop their cars. It looks great, and has a very raw driving feel that even modern German sedans have softened up a bit on.

In an ideal world, I personally would've purchased the imaginary RWD inline-6 Mazda 6. But as of this posting, that never materialized. So this is what I ultimately settled on but I am very satisfied with the car overall!

Side note: Genesis made Brembo brakes standard on all models for 2024. The 3.3T especially needs them; they allow you to accelerate really quickly but also stop really quickly....anyone have experience with non-Brembo 3.3T G70s? They must be really fun or really scary; or both!
