FINDING MORE HARRY POTTER FILMING LOCATIONS! Full guide on Lacock Abbey and Gloucester Cathedral

Around two hours away from London, you will find the village of Lacock and the city of Gloucester. Both locations, known for their beauty and quieter way of life compared to London, are also well-known Harry Potter filming locations for the first, second, and sixth movies. In this video, I visit Lacock Abbey and Gloucester Cathedral and bring you along for the trip.

First is the village of Lacock, home to Lacock Abbey, founded in 1232 as a monastery. In 1835, the first photographic negative was captured in the abbey by William Henry Fox Talbot. The abbey has been used as the backdrop for many films and television programs such as Harry Potter, The Fantastic Beasts series, Pride and Prejudice, and Downton Abbey. Then come with me to Gloucester Cathedral. The cloisters were used for the films and are divided into four sections, the north, south, east, and west corridors, each of which was used for the movies.
