Jordan Tilery, Elijah Elliot & Jalen Reece vs Terrance Davis & Telario Pringle! OAK RIDGE VS JONES!

Jones visited Oak Ridge this past Friday, December 9th, 2022. This rivalry has been going on for numerous years and it never disappoints for an intense environment between both schools. Whether the game takes place at Oak Ridge or Jones, be prepared to see some tough basketball & fans going crazy!

The Oak Ridge Pioneers started the game off a bit sloppy but picked it up by the end of the 1st quarter. Both teams were getting good looks and doing their best to capitalize on open shots. Elijah Elliot started off hot for The Ridge, scoring 9 of their first 22 points. The first quarter ended 22-14 with the Pioneers leading.

The second half was all Oak ridge as Jordan Tillery was getting it done on both ends of the floor. His perimeter defense and hustle alongside Amari Davis on the inside created so many issues for Jones. Both Amari & Jordan got a good amount of blocks in the first half & Jordan got some fastbreak points off steals as well. At halftime, Oak Ridge was up 41-26.

All throughout the 2nd half, both teams would go back and forth with Jones trying to cut the lead down, but Oak Ridge continuously trying to pull more and more away. In the 4th quarter, the Pioneers never took their foot off the gas and were scoring on all 4 levels. Jalen Reece hit 3 three-pointers in the 2nd half and racked up some dimes to his teammates. The game ended 74-57 with Oak Ridge coming out on top.

Jordan Tillery led all scorers with 17pts. Jalen Reece was right behind him with 15. Elijah Elliot finished with 11, Cameron Simpson had 13 & Tyler Johnson ended with 7. Tyler Johnson was snagging boards left and right and had 2 ferocious throw downs for the Pioneers.
