Bunny Debarge talks Motown, the Jackson's, Debarge, Switch, Today’s Artist, Today’s Churches

Hey ya'll. It was a pleasure to meet this legend and speak of the past as well as the future. Etterlene "Bunny" DeBarge is best known as the only female sibling to Motown's iconic R&B family music sensation, DeBarge. Bunny, the eldest of the ten DeBarge children, developed a unique high and soulful soprano vocal style and a love of singing at a young age, eventually leading to her global debut as a songwriter for the famed R&B band Switch, which featured her brothers Bobby and Tommy DeBarge. Later, she became the writer, lead vocalist, and co-producer for the legendary R&B ballad A Dream, which appeared on her own group's 1983 breakout, certified GOLD album In A Special Way. The album, produced by her brother El DeBarge, includes classics that Bunny co-wrote, such as Time Will Reveal, I Like It, and Stay with Me.
