One of the toughest decisions I needed to make when getting ready to head to Mexico City for several months was wether or not to bring Maya, my little best four legged friend.
Is important to visit your veterinary to see if your pet is ready for a trip.
One thing that is important to note is that if you don't think you will be home often, it might not be the best idea to bring your pet along. It might be better to have a dog sitter at home or leave your pet with someone you trust.
If you chose to bring your pet a long , know that Mexico city is very pet friendly. I have not regretted bringing Maya with me as there are so many spaces where your little friend is welcome, including parks, restaurants, coffee places and hotels.
Since cats are not a typical pet to bring along on a trip, specially because they fond of trips, I decided to show you La Gateria a coffee place where you can pet some cats that are there for adoption.
