My Joying GPS Is Failing!

Hi! I have a 2021 Joying Android Head unit.

I contacted Joying to let them know that my GPS keeps losing connection. I tested this issue using their supplied GPS antenna, my OEM antenna and another aftermarket antenna I have as a spare.

Joying asked me to identify the firmware that I have by opening the chassis of my head unit and also verify what type of ribbon cable was being used.

I recorded the process for educational purposes; in case you are wondering if you can install and aftermarket head unit. You can! You just have to be confident in what you are doing!
