Honister Pass Via Ferrata in the Lake District

They said no climbing experience was necessary, but a good level of fitness was required. So off I went and booked us 2 tickets for the Lake District's Via Ferrata Xtreme up in the jaw dropping Honister Pass. The area is still the working Honister slate mine, but parts of it have been turned into an adventurers playground. With challenges such as a sky ladder, a Burma Bridge, overhand descents that tested the arm muscles and vertical ladder climbs, I can understand why a good level of fitness is needed, but it's also not for the feint hearted. If you're planning to visit Cumbria, or more specifically the Lake District National Park, it's an activity I'd highly recommend for those who enjoy this style of challenge.
