The Doc's cover of Traditional Irish Folk Song Norah Magee. The earliest record of this song is from 1938 via the Sam Henry collection, who had observed that this song was "in great vogue" around 1870.

In memory of Robert McCallum Reynolds and David King Taylor Shanks.

The song would be a staple in The Doc's repertoire over the decades and would be a number that would attract the audience's undivided attention whenever it was performed.

The songs featured on this playlist were recorded somewhere between 2002 and 2005 and was ripped from a cassette titled 'John Doc - Irish Mix'.
