도깨비 도로는 세종시 전의면 다방리 212번지에 위치해 있으며 실제로는 내리막이지만 착시현상으로 오르막처럼 보인다.
착시구간이 130m로 내리막길에 차를 세우면, 당연히 내려가야 할 차가 신기하게도 올라가는 현상을 체험해 볼 수 있는 신비한 도로이다.
도깨비 도로 착시현상의 원인을 안과전문의들은 “눈은 사물에 있는 그대로 망막에 투영하지만 뇌가 이를 판단하는 과정에서 착각을 일으키는 증상“이라 설명하는 반면, 지형학자들은 ”도로주변의 지형지물 등의 정황 때문에 착시가 나타나고 있다“ 고 설명한다.

It is a mysterious road where you can experience the phenomenon that if you park your car on a downhill road with an optical illusion section of 130m, the car that is supposed to go down will strangely go up.
Ophthalmologists explain that the cause of the goblin road illusion is "a symptom in which the eye projects onto the retina as it is on objects, but the brain makes an illusion in the process of judging it," while topographers explain that "an illusion is occurring."
