How to do the SM57 transformerless mod - Step by step tutorial

In this video I'll show you how to mod your shure SM57 for a slightly different and probably better sound. This is done by removing the transformer. This mod will make the SM57 sound more open and will increase the low end.

In this tutorial I'll show step by step how to do remove the transformer without damaging the SM57 and will let you hear with sound examples on snare drum and guitar how this mod will sound!
