The portable radio receiver "SPORT / ASTRAD NOVA" has been produced by the Dnepropetrovsk Radio Plant since 1966. The transistor receiver of the 3rd class ''SPORT / ASTRAD NOVA'' is designed for receiving radio stations in the ranges: LW 2000...735 m (150...408 KHz), MW 570...186 m (525...1605 KHz ) and two short subbands, SW-II - 75...41 m (3.93...7.4 MHz) and SW-I - 31...25 m (9.4...12 MHz) waves . The real sensitivity of the radio receiver at long waves is 1.6 mV/m, medium 0.6 mV/m, short 0.3 mV/m. Adjacent channel selectivity 60 dB. Attenuation of the mirror channel on LW - 30 dB, MW - 32 dB, SW-II - 20 dB, SW-I - 16 dB. The AGC provides a voltage change at the detector of 3.5 dB when the input voltage changes by 26 dB. The band of sound frequencies reproduced by the loudspeaker according to the documentation is 300...3500 Hz, the real one is 250...4000 Hz. Rated output power 100 mW. Power is supplied from four elements of type AA. The current consumed in rest mode is about 10 mA. Receiver dimensions 195x110x47 mm. Weight 910 g.
