Hezbollah Drone Squadron Hits IDF Spy Base, Missiles Pound Meron Base After Israel Minister's Threat

Lebanon’s Hezbollah claims to have attacked a mountaintop Israeli military intelligence base in the Golan Heights in its "largest" air operation on July 7. Hezbollah fighters sent "multiple, successive squadrons of drones to target the reconnaissance centre" on Jabal Al-Sheikh (Mount Hermon). On July 7, Hezbollah claimed its fighters launched nine attacks on Israeli military sites with barrages of rockets as well as some guided missiles. Military sites in Liman and at Meron base were attacked with dozens of Katyusha rockets, the Iran-backed group claimed. News reports claimed that the Meron strategic base in the north Israel was targeted by 60 Hezbollah missiles. Meanwhile, the attack on Mount Hermon came less than an hour after Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant threatened Lebanon from the military base there.
