China's Submarine Torpedo Destroys Out-Of-Use Ship As Navy Claims "Historic Breakthrough"

The submarine force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy has made historic breakthroughs in torpedo and missile capabilities. The Chinese military is reportedly focusing on the development of nuclear-powered boats while also maintaining conventional boats. A PLA navy captain said their “combat capabilities are stronger and we can reach regions farther away, and we are more confident in our missions”. China released a video showing a decommissioned naval vessel being sunk by a torpedo launched from a submarine. Experts say this demonstration provides a rare view of the power and precision of China's submarine weapons.
