From Orlando's humid heat, I took flight to a land so sweet, Where nature's beauty and rhythm meet, In San José, Costa Rica's heart beat.

The plane soared high above the clouds, As I left behind familiar crowds, My soul, with wanderlust unbound, Settled in for the journey profound.

Costa Rica, a land of fiery passion, Where volcanoes and rainforests fashion, A world of green and vibrant hues, And wildlife, that I'd never refuse.

Landing in San José's lush valley, The beauty of this land, I could tally, With every step, my heart felt alive, As if all my senses had been revived.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, And the hum of life, so unhurried, The warmth of the sun, and tropical breeze, Welcomed me to this land of peace.

As I explored the city's streets and sights, From the markets to the colonial heights, I discovered a culture, so rich and diverse, A land of love, that one must traverse.

In San José, Costa Rica, I found, A land of beauty that knew no bound, With every moment, my soul was inspired, My heart was captured, my spirit fired.

From Orlando to San José, I travelled, A journey that left my soul unraveled, In this land of beauty, I found a new home, In Costa Rica, where my heart did roam.
