Описание к видео The Process Of Making Charcoal | Charcoal Processing Factory In Iran | Charring

Charring is a chemical process of incomplete combustion of certain solids when subjected to high heat.
Heat distillation removes water vapour and volatile organic compounds (syngas) from the matrix. The residual black carbon material is char, as distinguished from the lighter colored ash. By the action of heat, charring removes hydrogen and oxygen from the solid, so that the remaining char is composed primarily of carbon.
Polymers like thermoset, or most solid organic compounds like wood or biological tissue, exhibit charring behaviour.
Charring means partially burning so as to blacken the surface.
In this video, we went to the charcoal production workshop. In this workshop, old and unusable wood as well as discarded wood is used to prepare charcoal.
After being cut into smaller pieces, the wood is transferred to the metal charcoal furnace by means of a flaky saw. After turning on the oven, the wood is cooked completely in the oven with high heat for a whole day.
After turning off the burner and aerating the wood and cooling down the wood, the furnace door is opened and the ready coals are taken out of the furnace.
Join us to see the charcoal production process.
