We're eager to continue our regularly scheduled meetups, each aimed at the in-depth exploration of articles in the biology of aging, focusing on computational aspects.

Our forthcoming event is slated for October 26, a 90-minute session.

The theme for this discussion is "Aging and mental disorders development. The role of epigenetics and chromatin architecture". Guiding us through this topic will be PhD student Kirill Morozov. His major interests are changes of chromatin folding and epigenetics in the development of diseases.

During this Journal Club session, we'll explore The main similarities and differences in the development processes of selected mental diseases and aging will be considered. Key proteins involved in both processes will be reviewed, with a focus on changes in chromatin structure and epigenetics.

Our Journal Club is a platform for scientists, engineers specializing in biology, and anyone intrigued by the computational aspects of the biology of aging, to assemble, exchange ideas, and catalyze scientific innovations.
