~ When hahn left his native nebraska in '64 he journeyed down to san francisco and joined the 'john handy quintet' and quickly making his mark within the group & appearing on two albums...later joining the gary burton group and then forming his own band 'the jerry hahn brotherhood' by '73 he decided to make a solo record but with backing musicians from his band they were : mel graves/merl saunders(just for the session)/george marsh-drums all with brilliant musicial talent...the resulting album 'moses' fantasy records '73 & recorded at the fantasy studios in berkeley january 8/9/10 & 11th was produced by hahn with the whole unit on superb form...here they tackle donovans tune 'sunshine superman' that lends its self to a 'jamming' style of playing...another to savour in the afternoons with a coffee in hand!
